Shipping within Germany and across the EU
Europarcel covers parcels inside Germany and between Germany and all 26 other EU countries — in both directions, from one account. Instead of committing to a single carrier, you enter the parcel once and compare live offers from DHL, DPD, GLS, Hermes, UPS and FedEx side by side, then book the one that fits: the cheapest, the fastest, or the one whose pickup slot suits you. The platform behind Europarcel already serves 80,000+ shippers and has delivered over 500,000 parcels.
What a parcel costs comes down to four things: its weight, its dimensions, where it's going and which carrier takes it. Carriers charge on both actual and volumetric weight, so a large light box can cost more than a small heavy one — measuring properly before you book is the easiest money you'll save. Prices start at €4.99 within Germany and €7.99 for Germany ↔ EU, you pay per shipment with no subscription or minimum volume, and basic insurance is included on every parcel.
Transit times follow the map. Neighbouring countries — Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czechia, Poland, France, Denmark — are typically 1–3 working days. Italy, Spain, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia and Sweden run 2–5 days, and the furthest destinations (Greece, Malta, Cyprus) take up to 9. Within Germany, most parcels arrive in 1–2 working days. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays, and the pickup cut-off in your area decides whether day one is today or tomorrow.
Inside the EU there is no customs paperwork: the single market means no customs declaration, no import duties and no border formalities on any of the routes below — you print the label and hand the parcel to the courier. Every shipment is door-to-door, so you don't queue at a parcel shop, and every shipment is tracked on one page whichever carrier ends up carrying it. That also holds for returns: a route booked from Germany can just as easily be booked back to Germany.

Frequently asked questions
?Which countries can I ship to?
Anywhere in Germany, and between Germany and the other 26 EU countries — from Austria and the Netherlands to Portugal, Finland, Malta and Cyprus. Every route works in both directions, from the same account and at the same prices, so sending a parcel to Spain and receiving one back from Spain are booked exactly the same way.
?How long does delivery to another EU country take?
Neighbouring countries such as Austria, the Netherlands, Czechia, Poland, France and Denmark usually take 1–3 working days. Italy, Spain, Hungary, Romania and Sweden take 2–5. The furthest destinations — Greece, Malta and Cyprus — take 4–9. Within Germany, most parcels arrive within 1–2 working days. Each route page lists the estimate for that specific corridor.
?Do I need customs paperwork for parcels inside the EU?
No. All destinations listed here are inside the EU customs union and single market, so there is no customs declaration, no import duty and no border formality — a parcel from Germany to Italy is handled like a domestic one. Special territories outside the EU customs and VAT area, such as the Canary Islands, are the exception and need customs paperwork like any non-EU destination.
?How much does shipping cost?
Within Germany from €4.99, and Germany ↔ EU from €7.99. The final price depends on the parcel's size and weight, the destination and the carrier you choose — at launch you'll see the live offers side by side before you book. There's no subscription and no minimum volume: you pay per shipment, and insurance is included.
?Which carrier should I choose?
It depends on what matters for that parcel. DHL has the widest European network and time-definite options; DPD and GLS are strong value on EU road routes; Hermes is a good fit for everyday domestic parcels; UPS and FedEx are the express specialists when speed beats price. Rather than guessing, compare the live offers for your route — the ranking changes by destination, weight and day.
?Do I have to drop the parcel off at a shop?
No. Shipments are door-to-door by default: the courier collects the parcel at your home, office or warehouse and delivers it to the recipient's door, whichever carrier you booked. You follow it end to end on a single tracking page instead of six different carrier websites.
