Who we are
Europarcel (europarcel.com) is a parcel-shipping comparison platform launching soon in Germany and the EU. This page explains how we handle personal data collected through this pre-launch website.
Controller: EUROPARCEL SRL, Nerva Traian Boulevard, No. 3, Unit 3, 3rd District, Bucharest, Romania — VAT ID RO48984881. Contact: contact@europarcel.com.
What data we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect your name and email address, together with the language you used and the page you signed up from.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how visitors use this website — for example which pages are viewed and whether the waitlist form is completed. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and processes technical data such as truncated IP addresses, device and browser information.
Google may transfer data to servers outside the EU. Details are available in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can object to this processing at any time, for example by using browser settings, blocking extensions, or Google’s opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Why we process it (legal basis)
We use your data solely to inform you about the Europarcel launch and related launch offers. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by submitting the waitlist form.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@europarcel.com or using the unsubscribe link in any email we send — your data will then be deleted.
Where your data lives
Waitlist submissions are transmitted securely to our own automation infrastructure (self-hosted, EU-based) and are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
This website is hosted on Vercel and served through Cloudflare; both may process technical connection data (such as IP addresses) as processors to deliver the site.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist data until the launch campaign ends or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email contact@europarcel.com.
